2012 Silent Auction

The Ball’s silent auction supports the Killam – Maple Leaf Foundation Fellowships.
 
Administered by Fulbright Canada, the Killam – Maple Leaf Fellowships provide exceptional Canadian undergraduate students the opportunity to spend a semester in a New England University and their American counterparts to spend one semester in a Canadian University.

The 2012 auction highlighted uniquely New England–Canadian donations, ranging from artwork and sports memorabilia to distinctive travel/entertainment items and regional products such as the following:
  • Wine & Art Basket: "Oh Canada" exhibit book and two bottles of Canadian wine (value: $100 - donated by the Consulate General of Canada in Boston
  • A selection of KenKen books, including one book autographed by Will Shortz, NY Times puzzle editor (value: $125 - donated by KenKen)
  • Framed and signed photograph of Prince Edward Island West Point by PEI artist Léona Arsenault (value: $140 - donated by Léona Arsenault)
  • Wes Welker autographed football (value: $150 - donated by Repsol Energy)
