The Maple Leaf Foundation has supported several scholarships over the years. These scholarships were always in support of the Foundation's mission. In 2009, in honor of the MLF Ball's 25th anniversary, the Foundation launched their new, Killam - Fulbright Fellowships. These fellowships enable an American undergraduate student to spend one semester at a Canadian University, and enable one Canadian undergraduate to do the same in the USA. This scholarship is funded through a silent charity auction during the Ball.
