The Maple Leaf Foundation - Since 1982
2011 Maple Leaf Foundation Ball
The Maple Leaf Ball is the only annual fund raising event for the Foundation. Started by Bobby Orr and Ken Rossano in 1982, the MLF Ball has become the premier American – Canadian social event of the year. Usually attended by government and industry leaders from both sides of the border, this black tie, dinner dance provides everyone with a magical atmosphere to kick-off the holiday period and raise money for a worthy cause.  The Honorable Gary Doer, Canadian Ambassador in Washington DC, will be inducted into Academy of Distinguished Canadians and Americans during the evening of the Ball. The 2011 MLF Ball will take place at the Boston Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center, in Boston, Saturday, November 5, 2011. The 2011 Ball is sponsored by CGI.

The entertainment for the 2011 MLF Ball will be provided by Boston's Catch 22. Call 1-800-440-3318 to reserve a room at the Seaport Hotel and mention the Ball for a special rate.
